Welcome to MotoLife Maker
We’ve Been at This a While
This isn’t a brand built in a boardroom. It’s built in a workshop, a garage, and on about a million miles of American highway.
Between the two of us, Willie and I have been living the bike life since we were old enough to hit the street — and it’s always been Harleys. Willie spent decades as part owner of a bike shop in Greeley, Colorado. He knows Harley parts the way some people know their own kids. He’s the guy you want on the other end of the phone when you can’t figure out what part goes where or if it’s even going to fit.
I came up riding, got involved in building, and spent 20 years teaching others to ride. I’m an endurance rider — completed the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge twice and took a swing at it a third time on my ’55 Panhead. I’ve run the Cross Country Motorcycle Chase and hold multiple Iron Butt Association certifications. Distance and vintage iron are my thing.
The making came later. I didn’t start out real productive. I realized things needed to change if I wanted to keep riding, so I said goodbye to tequila over 30 years ago. Turns out when you quit drinking, you end up with a lot of time and money. You have to do something with it, right?
So I started making stuff. Leather goods, laser engraved pieces, custom gear, artwork, apparel. Things with personality. Things built by hand for people who actually ride.
That’s MotoLife Maker. Two people who’ve lived this life a long time, making and selling things that reflect it.
Glad you’re here.
