Motor Maids bring a touch of motorcycling history to Hastings, Nebraska

Motor Maids once again attended Bagger Racing League Rounds 1 and 2 in Hastings, Nebraska. South/North Dakota District Director Ann Hovdenes organized Motor Maid participation at the event, which included leading the fan lap and presenting the flags for the National Anthem before the races. Twelve Motor Maids from eight different states rolled into Hastings for the Memorial Day weekend event.

I’ve been a Motor Maid since 2017 but not actively involved. I’m a member of the Kansas/Nebraska/Oklahoma district. Up until recently, most of the action happens on the eastern side of the district, which makes a one-day event three days for me. I was thrilled that this event was a lot closer for me. It was my first longish trip on my Heritage. Aside from missing music, I love my new motorcycle!

Check out this video I put together. I’ve had the GoPro probably as long as I’ve been a Motor Maid and haven’t used it much. I’m really happy with how it turned out.
